The very talented Bettina Kaiser adapted the Mapping Edges mapping methodology for a Botanicals workshop at the Rizzeria in October 2020. As part of the program at Joynton Avenue Creative Centre the Rizzeria runs creative workshops with the overarching theme of “environment”. During the workshop, she introduced participants to Mapping Edges concepts and showed examples of the maps we have made. Vanessa Berry’s book was also used as an example of noticing and mapping the world around us.
Participants then explored Green Square and made drawings, collected leaves, made notes and afterwards they collated, collaged and printed it all together while learning to use the Riso machine,
